Shoulder Bag: Teardrop Twisted Handle
肩掛け袋(しずくバッグ・ねじり持ち手) katakake bukuro (shizuku baggu, nejiri mochite)
Use a large or x-large furoshiki, at least 100 cm. Knot: Square knot, Single knot, Twisted rope (handle twist).

- Lay the furoshiki outside up as a diamond. Corner A points at you; B is right, C is far, D is left.
- Fold corner A (near) up onto corner C (far) to make a triangle. Line the edges up; the outside of the furoshiki is now on the inside.
- Tie a single knot in corner B (right), close to its tip. Knot both layers of the corner together. You should now see a firm knot at the right end of the triangle.
- Repeat step 3 with corner D (left). You should now see a single knot at each end of the triangle.
- Turn the bag inside out so the knots go inside. Reach in between A and C and push the knotted corners through, as the round arrow shows.
- Hold corners A and C straight up above the bag. You should now see a teardrop-shaped bag with no knots showing and 2 points on top.
- Twist corners A and C each into a tight rope. Twist each one the same way, from the bag up to the tip.
- Tie the tips of A and C in a square knot to make the handle. You should now see a teardrop bag with a twisted rope handle and a flat knot on top.
