Body Wrap: Cowl-Neck Halter Top

巻きトップス(カウルネック) maki toppusu (kauru nekku)

Use a medium, large or x-large furoshiki, at least 90 cm. Knot: Square knot.

Body Wrap: Cowl-Neck Halter Top, finished
  1. Lay the furoshiki inside up as a square. Corner A is near-left, B far-left, C far-right, D near-right.
  2. Hold the furoshiki against your front and take B and C up behind your neck. Pick it up by B and C so the inside faces you; A and D hang at your waist. Let the top edge sag into a soft fold at your neckline.
  3. Tie B and C in a square knot behind your neck. You should now see (from behind) a flat knot at the back of your neck.
  4. Bring A and D around your waist to your back, as the arrows show. Keep the lower edge level and snug.
  5. Tie A and D in a square knot at the back of your waist. You should now see 2 knots at the back, one at the neck and one at the waist, with your back bare.
  6. Arrange the top edge into a soft cowl at your neckline. You should now see a halter top with a draped cowl at the front.
