Full face

The pattern covers the whole furoshiki edge to edge, so the same design shows on every face whichever wrap you choose.

Modern furoshiki trade term

An all-over repeat is the oldest and most common way to decorate a wrapper: Edo-period furoshiki were often cut from ordinary dyed yardage such as stencil-dyed komon or striped cotton, so the pattern simply ran edge to edge. Zenmen-dori is the furoshiki makers' name for this layout, used to set it apart from placed designs planned for how it looks when wrapped.
