# Simple Bag (Cakes, Frames, Odd Shapes)

Use a medium or large furoshiki. Knot: [Single knot](https://www.furoshiki.com/knots/knot-single/).

1. Lay the furoshiki wrong side up as a diamond. Corner A points at you; B is right, C is far and D is left.
2. Place the item in the centre.
3. Fold the near corner over the item to the far corner, making a triangle. You should now see the box covered, with corners D and B pointing left and right.
4. Tie an overhand (single) knot in the left corner, close to the item. Hold the item steady with your other hand while you tie.
5. Tie an overhand (single) knot in the right corner, close to the item. You should now see a single knot hugging each side of the box.
6. Tie the near and far corners together at the top in a small square knot to make a handle.
7. Lift the bag by the top knot. You should now see the box hanging level, with the knot centred above it.
