# Shopping Bag Wrap

紙袋包み kamibukuro tsutsumi

Use a medium or large furoshiki, at least 68 cm. Knot: [Square knot](https://www.furoshiki.com/knots/knot-square/).

1. Lay the furoshiki inside up as a diamond, corner A pointing at you. B points right, C away from you, D left.
2. Stand the gift bag in the centre, its wide face toward you.
3. Lift corners A (near) and B (right) and pass them through the right handle from inside. Smooth the furoshiki against the bag as you lift.
4. Pass corners C (far) and D (left) through the left handle from inside. You should now see the bag covered, with 2 corners poking through each handle.
5. Tie A and B in a square knot at the front of the right handle. Tuck the loose ends under the knot so it puffs out (follow the arrow). You should now see a puffed knot at the right of the handles.
6. Tie C and D the same way at the front of the left handle. You should now see the bag covered, a knot at each side and the handles free.
