巻き包み maki tsutsumi

Use a medium or large furoshiki, at least 68 cm. Knot: [Square knot](https://www.furoshiki.com/knots/knot-square/).

1. Lay the furoshiki inside up as a diamond, corner A pointing at you. B points right, C away from you, D left.
2. Lay the cylinder near corner C (far), running left to right.
3. Fold corner C (far) down over the cylinder toward you.
4. Roll the cylinder toward you until it reaches corner A (near). Keep the roll tight; B and D stay flat, sticking out of the 2 ends. You should now see the cylinder rolled in the furoshiki, with B and D as long ends at each side.
5. Lift ends B (right) and D (left) up above the roll.
6. Bring B and D around the middle of the roll, one from each side. Pass one end over the roll and the other under it, so they meet at the middle (follow the arrows).
7. Tie B and D in a square knot at the middle of the roll. You should now see a firm roll with one knot at its centre.
