1. Lay the white furoshiki inside up as a square, with the dark one on top as a diamond. Use 2 furoshiki of the same size (45-70 cm). Letters A-D name the white furoshiki's corners; the dark furoshiki's corners point near, far, left and right.
2. Place the object in the centre of the dark furoshiki, long side facing you.
3. Fold the dark furoshiki's far corner toward you over the object. Tuck its tip under the near side of the object.
4. Roll the object up in the dark furoshiki into a log from B to D. Turn the log an eighth of a turn so it lies on the white furoshiki's diagonal, dark ends at corners B and D. You should now see a dark log lying corner to corner across the white furoshiki.
5. Tie corner B together with the dark end beside it in a square knot. Leave both tips standing up as the rabbit's 2 ears.
6. Tie corner D together with the other dark end in a small square knot. Cross the ends and tie once, then cross them the other way and tie again. You should now see ears at one end of the log, a small knot at the other, and A and C free.
7. Lift corners A and C up over the middle of the log. Bring the tips together over the middle of the log, ready to tie.
8. Tie A and C in a square knot over the middle of the log. Cross the ends and tie once, then cross them the other way and tie again. You should now see a bunny with ears on top, a knot in the middle and a small knot at the bottom.
