Card Wrap: Right Fold

カード包み(右折り) kādo tsutsumi (migi ori)

Use a small furoshiki, at least 35 cm.

Card Wrap: Right Fold, finished
  1. Lay the furoshiki inside up as a diamond and place the card just past the centre. Corner A points at you.
  2. Fold the far half of the furoshiki down over the card. Bring corner C (far) down toward corner A (near) to make a triangle.
  3. Fold the near edge up over the card. Make a long band about as wide as the card. You should now see a long diagonal band with the card inside.
  4. Fold end D (left) of the band diagonally across the card. Line the fold up with the card's edge so a pointed flap lies over the band.
  5. Fold end B (right) over toward the left.
  6. Fold the tip of B, now sticking out on the left, under the packet. Wrap it round the left edge and lay it flat underneath.
  7. Smooth the packet flat and square up the edges. You should now see a neat, flat envelope-shaped packet.
