1. Lay the furoshiki inside up as a diamond, corner A pointing at you, and fold corner C (far) down onto A. B points right and D left. Leave C a little short of A so both tips show.
2. You now have a triangle, with the long fold away from you and B and D at its two ends. Hold B and D and lift the triangle onto your head. C sits just short of A, so both tips show. The long fold goes over your forehead and the point (A and C) hangs down your back.
3. With the long fold framing your face, bring B and D down under your chin. The point (A and C) hangs down your back.
4. Tie B and D in a square knot under your chin. Tie once, then tie again crossing the other way; let the tails hang down. You should now see the scarf framing your face, with a flat knot under your chin.
