# Loop knot

輪結び wa musubi

A single knot tied in a doubled rope, leaving a fixed loop to carry the bundle by.

1. Fold the rope's end back down beside the rope.
2. Tie the doubled rope in a single knot.
3. Pull the loop up and the tip down to tighten.

## How to undo it

Push the loop back into the knot to loosen it, then pull the doubled end out.

## Mistakes

- Pulling the tip through instead of the folded end gives a plain single knot with no loop.
